I have bought your opera accompaniments: I need to merge the piano accompaniment/vocal line/diction track into one file:
You have just downloaded the Professional Pack? Opera-Karaoke will explain how to do some simple operations to help you in the learning of your chosen aria.
You would like to use karaoke having as a base, instead of the Piano accompaniment track, the vocal line track or the diction track?
Very simple, just rename the file with the CDG extension giving it the name as the audiotrack you want to play (for example rename the "nessundorma" cdg file to "nessundormadiction").
Double click the renamed cd+g file and the player will reproduce the corresponding audio file. Opera-karaoke suggests, if you want to improve your diction, to start with the diction
file, passing then to the vocal line track and finally the Piano Accompaniment Track.
Also our opera accompaniments can be easily mixed into a new audiofile, doing this you can make a copy for study purposes of the new track or you can use it for karaoke.
This is how to proceed:
Open your favorite audio editing program (if you don't have you can download and install Audacity
which is free and has all the functions necessary).
From the main window of Audacity, import the 3 opera accompaniments tracks that you have downloaded: the piano accompaniment track, the vocal line track and the
diction track. (go to the "Project/Import Audio" menu in Audacity and select the track you want to import, repeat for the other 2 tracks).
At this point the window should look like this:

In the window to the left of the audio track you will find a mute button. Using this button you can play or not your track. Under the mute button there is a little bar with the + and - signs, this is for the volume control. Start by listening our opera accompaniments: the piano accompaniment track and vocal line (to do this you must select the diction track mute button) and listen to it a few times until you are confident with the melody.

When you are satisfied with the result, you can proceed with the mixing operation. From the Menu "File" select "Export as WAV" (or "Export as MP3). In the following dialog Box, give a name to the new track. If you want to burn your track into a CDR, open your favorite burning program and import your new track in a new CD audio Project.
